Welcome to the 19th WFOT Congress

Dear Colleagues,

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 19th WFOT Congress being held in Bangkok, Thailand between the 9 – 12 February 2026.

We are honoured to have you join us from all around the world, bringing together a diverse community of professionals, educators, researchers, and students united by a shared passion for occupational therapy.

This Congress represents an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest advancements in our profession, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations that will shape the future of occupational therapy. As the convenor, I am particularly excited about the rich and varied programme we have prepared for you. From ground-breaking research presentations and innovative sessions to inspiring keynote addresses and interactive panel discussions, this event is designed to challenge our thinking, expand our knowledge, and inspire new ways of improving the lives of those we serve.

The theme of this Congress, “Inspiring Change, Innovating Futures” signifies our commitment to embracing new opportunities in our profession and exploring innovative strategies that will lead us forward. We believe that your active participation and the sharing of your unique perspectives will contribute significantly to the success of this event.

In addition to the formal sessions, we have also arranged several social events to provide opportunities for networking and building lasting professional relationships.
